On June 17th, the Provincial Health Officer put out a new set of guidelines for businesses and employers to help transition away from the COVID-19 Safety Plans.  You can read them here.  You will read that some of the protocol will continue, and some will be used regionally on an as-needed basis. 

As of July 1st, BC officially moved into Step 3 which was also the start of the transition for businesses from their COVID-19 Safety Plans to the new Communicable Disease Prevention Plan. You can read the WCB Guidelines here and the Employers guide here. 

Along with regional and provincial Public Health Guidelines, I will continue to take each one of my student's current health situation, as well as my own, into account when discussing the types of programs available and the health & safety protocol we will follow. 

If you have an in-person appointment with me, please consider the following notes:

• Sessions or meetings are by appointment only. 
• Use of masks, hand hygiene and routine cleaning will continue for the time being for the care and consideration of those with compromised immune systems in my small office. 
• I continue to request students & parents not come to my office if sick or ill (even if it's "I think I might be coming down with something" or "I'm just getting over a cold/flu").  There are many options that we can use instead of in-person sessions while you recover!

It appears that the majority of my recent posts have been about updating the Covid-19 Safety Plan!  As the PHO specifies, this plan should be reviewed and changed on a regular basis, and although I realize that the last time was December 10th 😳 , I have continued to monitor the ongoing restrictions and changes to orders and guidelines ⚠ . 

If you happen to be by my office, you'll also notice that my signage has been updated as well to reflect April 2021  and not September 2020 anymore....

there was a Grand Printer Adventure I went on December 10th through February Something-or-other as I was trying to print my (at the time) updated Safety Plan, to which I did not manage to get my office signage printed.... for MONTHS!  However! out of it came a free, new printer direct to me from the manufacturer warranty!! Score!!  it's a pretty teal blue as well!  I'll have to share a picture of it on my next post to break up the Covid-19 Safety Plan Update monotony :D

As you can imagine over the past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed many private businesses to continually adapt.  It has certainly allowed me to review and change my business model multiple times, even since September! 

At this point in time, I am looking forward and working on developing new programs and services to offer so that I may continue to help those in the community, and the surrounding Cariboo region!

As I continue to learn and develop new ways of working with clients, the services I am able to offer will flex along with my learning.  When ready, I will be excited to share all of my new offerings with the community!

A huge thanks to  Community Futures North Cariboo.  Without their programs, services and workshops that they offer to businesses, I could not have got to this point without them.  I am  thoroughly looking forward to their continued help, guidance, advice (and awesome workshops!)
