The Centre for Healthy Mindspace is offering a 4 session summer program for youth, beginning July 8th at 10:00 am.
Youth that are between the ages of 10 and 13 years are welcome to attend. Book early as space is limited.
The program uses core principles from the MindUp cirriculum some of which include, self awareness, problem solving, emotional intelligence and empathy. The content covers topics ranging from,
- learning how the brain works,
- connecting to mindfulness through the breath,
- mindful listening/seeing/tasting/moving,
- developing optimism and gratitude and also,
- taking mindful action into the world.

Week 1 - Tues. July 8th, 10-12 pm
Week 2 - Tues. July 15th, 10-12 pm
Week 3 - Tues. July 22nd, 10-12 pm
Week 4 - Tues, July 29th, 10-12 pm

The cost for the program is $180 (works out to $45 per 2 hour session.) The program is sure to support the learner in playful and engaging ways that pique curiosity and nuture self development.
