Creatures of Curiosity summer 2013 #1
A windy and cool day, we adventured out to Cottonwood House as well as Lightning Creek! We ran out of time to make paper boats and float them down the river, but there's always next time!
Creatures of Curiosity Summer 2013 #2
Visiting Mrs. Rorke's house, we had many great and exciting plans! The two top pics were.......Spray painting T-shirts, and lots of hands-on bunny love. So many smiling faces all day long, it was great fun! A big thank you to Tammy, Bill and Amy Rorke who not only let us use their property, but joined in the fun as well! As well, a thank you to one of Mrs. Rorke's students Dom who gladly gave our group a great tour of the bunny and chicken houses!
Our latest program from Creatures of Curiosity happened last Friday, on the 28th!
We created cool bags, learned new stitches, tried different glueing techniques, worked with embroidery thread (and unknotted it!!), made mini purses and the last easy-but-fun project was pompoms!!
Great fun was had by all, so here are some pictures!
We had so much fun with the mini purses and pompoms that the camera was forgotten, but the memories lasted!
